Biodiversity reflects the conditions of a place
These examples show that soil biodiversity is not a fixed property. It changes depending on the conditions that organisms experience.
Healthy soil does not necessarily contain the same organisms everywhere. Instead, it contains communities that are adapted to their environment and interact to support soil services.
Understanding these differences helps us appreciate soil biodiversity not as a hidden collection of species, but as a dynamic reflection of landscapes, ecosystems and human activities.
