Activation: soil heroes around me

In this lesson, you explored how different people and organisations make soil visible and valued. Now you will identify one example from your own region, country, or another place that interests you.

Your task

Create a simple one-page poster or visual profile featuring:

• one person, group, organisation, or initiative that supports soil;
• what they do;
• which soil issue or soil service they address;
• why their work matters;
• one short slogan that captures their contribution.

The initiative may relate to:

• agricultural soil management;
• forest soil conservation;
• peatland or wetland restoration;
• urban soil protection;
• community composting;
• soil education;
• artistic or communication initiatives;
• NGO advocacy;
• municipal soil-related planning;
• citizen science;
• restoration or biodiversity.

The focus is not design perfection. The focus is clarity of message.
